Air Lift LoadLifter Air Helper Springs Installation - 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body

Today, on our 2007 Chevy Silverado, new body style, we'll be installing the airlift vehicle suspension system, part number AL88275. First, to begin our install, we're going to go ahead and check the ride height of our truck. Here, with the vehicle on flat ground and no weight added, from the ground to the top of our wheel well is 41 1/2 inches. Next, we're going to go ahead and add approximately 2500 pounds to the bed of our truck. We'll double-check our ride height. We're now sitting at 39 inches from the ground to the top of the wheel well. Next, we'll go ahead and run it through our test course. more

Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs, part number AL57275. First, we'll take a measurement from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender well, giving us an idea of wheel clearance. Now this is with a very light load in the back of the vehicle. We have about 10 1/2" of distance between the tire to the top of the fender well before the air springs. With the truck at our factory suspension setup, we're going to go ahead and take it over our slalom and our bumps course. Now, with a load in the back of the truck and the air bags not inflated, we've lost just a little over 1". more
